This doesn't have anything to do with the reunion, but I'm sitting here working on my computer and listening to Terry Lee....and I wanted to share the link to his website with everyone. www.tlsoundco.com. He's playing "High On A Hill" by Scott English right now. Boy does that bring back memories of the rec hall!!!

The reason that the committee chose Friday, September 6, 2013 for the reunion is because the big CHS picnic reunion for classes 1934 to 1972 will be held the next day at Clairton Park Lodge. We wanted to give people the opportunity to come to Clairton once and attend both reunions if they want to. The Saturday gathering is a large reunion that has been going on for many years but they always stopped it with the class of 1960. A few years ago they decided to open it up to more classes. The last few years we have had between 800 and 900 people attend. It is a great time to see fellow classmates along with old neighbors and parents of your friends. It is always held the 1st Saturday in September and is usually Labor Day weekend but in 2013 and 2014 it is the weekend after Labor Day. You can get more information about the picnic reunion at http://www.chsreunionpicnic.com/.

Also note on the bottom of the same website there are links to information about the CHS reunion that is held every year on the 3rd Saturday in February near St. Petersburg, Florida.

Clairton, Pennsylvania:
This Blog has been created as a quick way to keep members of the Clairton High School classes of 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 informed about the reunion that is being planned for Friday, September 6, 2013. If you enter your email address in the box to the right that says "Follow By Email", you will be notified every time we add information about the reunion to this Blog.

Stay tuned for upcoming information. The reunion we held in 2007 with our five classes was a huge success and we expect this one to be bigger and better!
